News about Uncharted 4 Beta

Like I think I’ve said far too many times before, I have a soft spot for Nathan Drake and his ridiculous escapades in search of lost treasure. The Uncharted Trilogy is getting the full remaster treatment early next month, bringing three of the best PS3 games to Sony’s new flagship in all of their smooth, eye popping glory. What it also secures you is access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta – which is starting just before the new year rings in.

Naughty Dog has revealed that the beta for their (supposedly) final entry into the Uncharted franchise will kick off this December, letting you run, climb and melee around a handful of maps and modes between the 4th and13th of December. Naughty Dog hasn’t yet detailed exactly what is in the beta, but if it’s anything like the past you can look forward to at least two maps and hopefully the same number of game modes. You know, if you’re into Uncharted multiplayer at all. It never really grabbed me personally.

It also offers you a slight glimpse into what type of power Naughty Dog is sucking out of the PS4 to deliver an Uncharted experience that is truly unparalleled. Entrance into the beta can only be secured by purchasing The Nathan Drake Collection next month, and you’ll obviously need your PlayStation Plus subscription to hop online for some third-person pew pew.

If Uncharted multiplayer doesn’t interest you in the slightest, or if you’re against buying a remaster of the first three games entirely, then you’ll have to wait until March next year to see the concluding chapter of Nathan’s adventure. Until then, enjoy this montage of Drake stealing a lot of stuff that really isn’t his. More like Kleptomaniac Simulator right?
